CYA Krik announces an open call for participation in the double youth exchange “You can live green” taking place from 06th to 15th March 2026 in Lhotka u Melnika (Czech Republic) and from 09th to 18th June in Tiszavasvári (Hungary). The activity is implemented within the Erasmus+ Programme and hosted by National Association of Former State Fostered Persons.

Objectives
The project’s main objective is to empower young people by providing them with the skills and knowledge necessary to address environmental challenges in their local communities.
The project seeks to create long-term impacts by fostering a deep commitment to environmental sustainability. Participants will not only develop practical skills related to sustainability but will also gain leadership, project management, and digital advocacy skills.
A key element of the project is the use of Youthpass to document and reflect on the participants’ learning process.
The program will include:
Practical activities related to environmental protection, such as community clean-ups, sustainable farming workshops, and climate advocacy campaigns. Additionally, the project includes a strong digital component. Participants will learn how to use digital platforms and social media to advocate for environmental causes, improving their digital literacy while increasing their ability to engage with their communities on sustainability issues.
Participant Profile
Age: 16 –24
· Ready to share good practices and engage in intercultural learning
· Able to communicate and work in English
Costs and Support
The project is fully funded by Erasmus+ and covers:
· Accommodation, food, and local transport in the venues where the youth exchanges are implemented
· Organized transport from Macedonia (by minibus) to the place of the venue by the coordinator and travel insurance
About the Host City
Lhotka u Mělníka is a small village in the Czech Republic known for its unique Rock Dwelling, an ancient farm carved into sandstone, open seasonally as a museum exhibit by the Mělník Regional Museum. It's a peaceful area near Mělník, popular for hiking and cycling, with basic amenities like a pub and a train station, offering a glimpse into historical rural life in Bohemia.
Tiszavasvári is a town in eastern Hungary's Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg county, known for its history, connection to the Tisza River, and proximity to nature, with nearby attractions like Hortobágy National Park offering outdoor activities. Formed from merged settlements, it features historical sites like the Calvinist Church and serves as a regional transport hub.
IMPORTANT
It is a double exchange programme. The second part will be implemented in Tiszavasvári (HU) from 09th to 18th June 2026. The same people will participate in both exchanges.
