Open call for 12 months ESC project in Puglia, Italy 

CYA Krik announces an open call for participation in the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) Volunteering Project titled “Stay Active Volunteer Vol. 4”, implemented by InCo Molfetta in the Puglia region, Southern Italy

Project Overview

• Hosting Country: Italy (Region of Puglia)

• Start Date: June 2025

• Duration: 12 months

• Number of Available Placements: 2

• Type of Activity: Full-time voluntary engagement with non-profit host organizations

• Deadline for Expression of Interest: 10.04.2025

Objectives:

The main objective of this call is to identify and engage motivated young individuals who are eager to take part in a meaningful long-term volunteering experience within the framework of the European Solidarity Corps. By participating in the “Stay Active Volunteer Vol. 4” project in Molfetta, Southern Italy, volunteers will contribute to community-oriented initiatives that promote active citizenship, inclusion, and intercultural dialogue.

Moreover, the project seeks to strengthen the role of youth in local development through engagement in non-formal education, school outreach, media production, cultural exchange, and public campaigns on social issues. By supporting such initiatives, the project contributes to the personal growth of volunteers, while simultaneously enriching the hosting community.

Profile of Participants

• Age between 18 and 30 years old

• Demonstrate strong motivation to contribute to community-based work abroad

• Have an interest in non-formal education, youth work, social inclusion, or environmental action

• Be open to intercultural learning, adaptability, and responsible living abroad

The ESC programme guarantees the following support to each selected volunteer:

• Full coverage of accommodation, food, and local transport

• Travel Costs (reimbursed up to ESC limits)

• Monthly pocket money

• Health insurance

• Linguistic support

• Continuous mentorship and educational guidance
