CYA Krik announces an open call for participation in the international seminar “Green Century – Youth and Sustainable Tourism Vision from Türkiye to the World,” taking place from 14 to 20 May 2025 in Erzurum, Türkiye. The activity is implemented within the Erasmus+ Programme and hosted by SİTODED (Civil Society Supporter Association).

Objectives
The seminar aims to build the capacities of youth workers, trainers, and project managers in the field of sustainable tourism through non-formal education and collaborative learning. Participants will explore how tourism relates to ecological, economic, and social justice, while developing tools and practices that promote sustainability in youth work and local communities.
The program will include:
Workshops and ideathons
Creative presentations
Gamification methods and study visits
Education based on the 8 Youthpass competencies
Participant Profile
We are looking for applicants who are:
Over 20 years old
Youth workers, educators, trainers, or individuals interested in tourism and sustainability
Members of youth organizations or individuals active in the youth field
Motivated, committed, and available to take part in all seminar activities
Ready to share good practices and engage in intercultural learning
Able to communicate and work in English
Costs and Support
The project is fully funded by Erasmus+ and covers:
Accommodation, food, and local transport in Erzurum
Travel reimbursement based on Erasmus+ distance calculator (up to €309 for travel from Macedonia)
About the Host City
Erzurum is the largest city in Eastern Türkiye and has recently been named the 2025 Tourism Capital by the Economic Cooperation Organization. Located at the foot of the Palandoken Mountains, the city is known for its historical heritage, winter tourism, and academic life, hosting over 160,000 students across two public universities.
