Involving youth - Follow up event of the project One Step Higher

On December 18, 2024, a significant event took place at the Conference Hall of the Municipality of Kisela Voda, aimed at enhancing youth involvement in local decision-making processes. 

The collaborative forum brought together nearly 50 participants, including youth representatives, local government officials, and community leaders, fostering an environment for open discussion and shared learning. The primary goal of this follow-up activity was to underscore the vital role that youth play in shaping their communities. Through this platform, stakeholders engaged in meaningful dialogue that highlighted the necessity of integrating youth perspectives into community governance. The event emphasized the power of collaboration among youth organizations, youth workers, and municipal representatives, creating opportunities for partnerships and innovative ideas. 

The format of the forum encouraged interaction and discussion, allowing participants to express their views and share experiences related to youth participation. Attendees explored important questions about the barriers to youth involvement and the strategies that can be employed to enhance their engagement in decision-making processes.
